This is my Mother-in-law's house in Heber Springs, AR. This deck overlooks the Little Red River.

Thankfully, she is O.K. but don't believe the house will ever be the same. Ike has touched so many........ thoughts and prayers are with everyone!!

Hurt houses can be fixed, hurt people can't - glad to read that everyone is safe. Hard as this is right now, in time, you'll all look back and remember the event without feeling the pain. Your photographs will help with that.

Our home was in Ike's path also, but fortunately it was between bands of the storm and we had minimal damages, where just down the street from us a house had the whole roof taken off! Our daughter lives to the north of us and a tree fell on her Jeep and totaled it, fortunately she was not in the Jeep! So sorry for your mother-in-law's home but so glad that she wasn't hurt!!!

Ike was a monster. We were lucky in HOuston, but neighbors right next door had to rebuild.
