I am better now, looking at my apples, who are waiting for me to make them the first apple pie of the upcoming season.
I will start making apple pie now almost every weekend through Christmas as I have many I try to bake for in thankfulness for favors granted throughout the year. The first one is going to my friend Eugene who dropped off a few cord of wood for my fireplace a few weeks ago and let me take my time paying him. He gets his final payment this weekend, along with the first apple pie to kick off the season.
