"Mary's Porch"
The sun sets on Mary's porch. Mary's home faces ours. She is an outstanding neighbor and cherished friend with the proverbial "heart of gold". She is a tireless and dedicated Nurse Practitioner, a personification of warmth and sincerity with much more than usual concerns for those whose lives she touches. I suspect her patients and friends know a "diamond" when they see one!
You really wouldn't want to sit on this porch, though, without a sizable portion of Mary's own blackberry cobbler [still warm from the oven and brimming with freshly picked fruit from vines out back] and a glass of her "sinful" blackberry smoothie! BTW, Mary is attractive and single... Guys, take notice!

You know, Rob, this really does work. It hase all of the elements of a terrific photograph. You've captured a wonderful sidelight (early morning?); repeating elements with the rails and posts; clear, crisp shadows on the deck and wall; a contrasting color accent in the rose in the pot on the table and the hanging basket; the warm colors of the house; and the very scene it self speaks of peace and tranquility. Need I go on? And say hi to Mary for me. R

I'd only be repeating what everyone else has already said, but I do like this picture. It makes you feel something - memories, dreams, warmth - which is what a good photo should do.
