- - The tattoo says 'ahavi' which is old hebrew for the imperative for the verb 'to love'. This form of imperative isn't used much any more... there is a slightly different variation I think. This tattoo translates literally as a command for a woman to love. It's the 2nd person singular form of the imperative, in the feminine. So if you were saying this to someone, you'd be saying it to a female, and you'd basically be saying 'love!' as a command.
