I've lived in the Mansfield area for about eight years now. I hadn't known much about the history of the town/city. I was recently exploring the Old Mansfield area taking photos of all the historic buildings. I've always walked by the old museum, but I had never gone inside. The man in the photo gave me the "10 cent tour" of the museum. I was amazed at how much history was behind this growing city. All of the names he had mentioned now have so much more meaning behind them. Most of the schools in this area are named after teachers from the early 1900s. I now have a lot more respect for the city I live in.
