left my soul there, down by the sea
somewhere along the Pacific Coast Highway....where I feel the most at peace....

I actually had the flu really badly when this was taken and it is a hand held long exposure. I didn't know it was possible to sit that still!! I think it's quite dreamy as the sun was setting and the jagged rocks in the foreground look like shark fins.

This image is at the same time peaceful and dramatic. Beautiful light and composition. The layers each tell a different story, but all come together to showcase the beauty of nature.

It looks more like a painting then a photograph. How did you capture this?

Nanette, this is a hand held long exposure....the sun was just setting and i didn't have time to get to my car and get my tripod so i held my breath instead

Perfect combination of sharpness (handheld, wow) in the rocks with softness in the water. Beautiful!
