Florida isn't all high-rises and condos. On the west coast, tiny Marco Island is sadly overdeveloped, but there are still plenty of places to get away: isolated beaches, shallows shoals, and wide, wide open skies are the rule just off the mainland. The dolphins know it. So do the manatees. Don't be surprised to see either. Or both.
