I found JPEG by accident. One day while out looking for a new shirt I noticed a stack of old photo magazines lying on a counter. I started thumbing through one and quickly realized it was no ordinary photo magazine, but JPEG, home of the spectacular imagery ignored by the snob mattes. (::cough aperture cough cough::)

I studied film in New York City. Currently I freelance in Southern California, write when I can, and look for new subjects to document.
