I'm 23 and in my 2nd year of law school in Northern CA. I take pictures to keep my sanity and to prevent random outbursts of crying/despair in the library.

I do my best using "How to" books that explain what "aperture" and "shutter speed" are about, and my own sense of what I hope is aesthetically pleasing. I love Richard Avedon, Diane Arbus, Arnold Newman, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Annie Leibovitz, Irving Penn, and my grandma's photos.

I use a Canon Rebel XSi w/ the Kit lens (18-55mm IS).
