My father loaned me my first camera, a Nikkormat at age 15. Studying photography at Birmingham High School in the L.A.area, I was hooked on traditional black and white photography. Moving to Northern California soon after traveling through Europe, I settled in Berkeley and found my way to the San Francisco Art Institute in the early 1970’s. I continue to make art today, photographing the 'Urban Landscape' in and around California, always the passive observer..
