I am an environmentalist and photographer with a special interest in the landscapes and culture of the southern Appalachian region.

A rather unstructured person, I like rambling - having no place I have to be, and a long time to get there. I suppose some would consider my method to be "lolly-gagging" , but it works for me. However, I’m not certain if its the wanderlust that inspires my photography or if its the photography that inspires my wanderlust.
