has been a member since Apr 2008 and goes by Malen.

I am a self-taught photographer. Watching my children grow made me curious about exploring the fine lines between the ephemeral and lasting moments of life. I am working on this notion through a series “Still life”. I am interested in today’s perceptions of childhood, looking past the cliché of “cute and innocent”, to explore children’s inner selves instead.

I work with both digital and film cameras (4x5 and 8x10 view cameras). I was born in Paris, 39 years ago.
