Kirk Hayes

has been a member since Jan 2008 and goes by kayes.

I am obsessed with photography. I love to view it, take it and edit it. I love the creative process of developing a concept, planning it out and then taking the image. My father is a photographer... he gave me a Nikon Nikkormat at age 8. I've been taking pictures ever since... only seriously since art school. My favorite photographers of all time are Richard Avedon and Annie Leibovitz. Their ability to capture the subject's essence on film has inspired and motivated me for many years.
