Steven Hight
I am alternately a painter and a photographer. I've focused myself more seriously on photography recently though, printing on a large scale and searching for venues to show my work.
I'm really interested in the loose and atypical image and I'm greatly aided in this approach by shooting through the viewfinder of a vintage Kodak Duaflex from 1950. Most definitely not a state-of-the-art camera, It's lens is covered with dust and scratches and it's distorted reality closely mimics my own.
