John “Tall Mountain Bear” Madden as he is known to his native American family and fellow veterans is a photographer, artist and poet living in Amarillo, Texas.


His work ( and John himself) are well known among working cowboys and the Native American’s he photographs. Many artists have commissioned John for his ability to capture the true spirit of his subjects.
