I'm a semi-retired nurse who suddenly had to redefine who I am after an accident at work pretty much ended that career. My love of photography saved my life. Since then, I've become a freelance writer, editor, and photographer who has blended my love for music, nature, and people with photography, which has allowed me a creative freedom I thought I'd lost.
Like a phoenix, there's something interesting rising out of the ashes of the life I used to lead.
