I am a Louisiana photographer working and living in the Midwest. I hold two degrees in Visual Arts Photography: a Bachelor of Arts from McNeese State University and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The philosopher Simone de Beauvoir said: “One is not born a woman, one becomes one.” My work deals specifically with how we, as a culture, become women (and men) as distinctly influenced by our interpretations of literature – specifically fairy tales.
