I was asked recently what kind of photos I like to take...

Somehow, this was the most profound question I've ever been asked.

I stumbled around a bit before finally saying "Gritty urban surrealism", but that's just pretentious crock. I just like taking pictures. It gives me a thrill that I can't get anywhere else.

I was a photojounalist for four years in college. Now I live in LA.
