I am a climate scientist, working with mostly Arctic weather. I'm also a part-time writer, with two books (about weather and climate) published. And then there's photography. It's a big hobby, to the degree that my worldly career used to be suffering from it. I got hooked in 2006, when I got my first DSLR. I'm on my third now, a 40D. At first I was very active on flickr, then I did microstock for a few years. But that wasn't much fun, so now I thought I'd try out jpgmag. Hope you like my photos.
