I am a near-60 year old ex-Brit living in N Virginia. By background, I am a software engineer and, fleetingly, a restauranteur. My wife and I have been in the States for about 10 years. En route to the States, we lived in Spain.

I am a hobby-photographer who would like to improve; I am hoping I can learn from the comments you all provide. I share a Nikon D80 with my wife. Before that we had a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. In the days of film, I had a Canon EOS 750.
