I am 47 years old and was born and raised in South Louisiana. I bought my first camera in '78 when I graduated high school as the first step in building my credit. It was a Canon AE-1. I lost that camera in '82 in a house fire and did not get another camera until 2005. It was a Canon SD 550 I bought for work and it ended up sparking my passion for photography I had as a kid.

I work in the Gulf of Mexico and a lot of my pictures will reflect that fact as I am out here more than at home
