Born, raised and currently living in New York, I starting shooting with my dad's old-school Nikon F3. I recently picked up a few textbooks and have been photographing as much as I can; my hours for work are pretty rough, so most of my shots are taken at night or on the weekend. I've always enjoyed walking around the city and now my camera comes with me everywhere I go. I don't look down on it, but I pride myself on shooting fully manual. I idolize the first generation of Magnum photographers.
