After graduating with degrees in journalism and graphic design I decided to take a hiatus from the world of magazines and newspapers before joining the "real world" and move to China to teach English for a bit. Here I'm discovering a world that is much more real than anything I could have imagined. I love being in China and experiencing new things, but I'm also anxious to get home to my family and friends and start a career in print journalism.
