I suppose if I were to call myself anything... it would be amateur...
Amateur although progressing.
Have had an obsession with photography as far back as I can remember, though until recently it has never been devoloped beyond taking pictures of kids and family with simple point and shoot cameras.
It has become my creative outlet. Something I do not because of any want for profit or recognition...
But because I enjoy it.
